The Infinity Con Lake City Art Contest

Entry submission drop off at Infinity Con Lake City (FL National Guard Armory in Lake City):

February 25th, 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM

February 26th, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Winners announced at 3:50 PM.

General Rules

• Your original artwork should be created with a traditional 2-D medium and the subject matter should be related to comics, pop culture, sci-fi, or anime.
• The contest will be divided into three age categories: Youth (9 - 13), Teen (14 - 17), and Adult (18 +).
• One top prize and one runner-up will be awarded in each category. Participation certificates will be awarded to remaining entrants.
• By submitting your work to us, you are granting Infinity Con the non-exclusive right to publish your work in any format, including print, electronic, and online media. However, all individual contributors retain the right to submit their work for non-exclusive publication elsewhere.
• Because of space restrictions, a limited number of entrees will be accepted per age bracket.
• There is no charge to enter the contest, however entry into convention is not included in this application. You must still purchase your tickets to the event.

Only original works will be accepted.

Type of Artwork Accepted:

• Artwork must be two-dimensional between the sizes of 8.5” x 11” and 13” x 19”.
• Artwork should be created using one or more traditional drawing media including graphite, charcoal, marker, pen, colored pencil, crayon, ink, or paint. Digitally produced work will not be accepted.
• Artwork must be 100% your own; adapting someone else’s artwork or tracing is NOT allowed and will disqualify your entry. You are free to draw existing characters and worlds as long as the art is completely created by your hands and is not a copy or trace.
• Obscene artwork or artwork containing profanity will NOT be accepted.
• Digitally produced work, 3-D pieces, or photography will NOT be accepted.

When and where can you enter?

Please use the sign-up form below to enter. Registration will close Saturday, February 26th at 12:00 PM or when we have reached our limit of 35 total entries. If there are spots still available at the event, sign-ups will be at the ticket counter. You may drop your artwork off at the Infinity Con Lake City ticket counter February 25th, 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM or February 26th, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Winners will be announced at 3:50 PM.

What can you win?

• Top prize – $50 worth of art supplies, 2 Infinity Con 2023 VIP passes
• Runner-up prize – 2 Infinity Con 2023 weekend passes

By attending and/or exhibiting at the annual Infinity Con event, I hereby consent to the collection and use of my personal images by photography and/or video recording. I acknowledge these may be used for promotional purposes by Infinity Con for current and future events.
